Husband is in an arm sling w/shoulder injury. We don't plan any BIG roller coasters or anything is there any restrictions for rides he can't go on? Dr. said o.k. to go on them as long as he is careful, but want to make sure o.k

Hi Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be SO excited to visit the Walt Disney World Resort soon! I know it is such a bummer that your husband will be traveling with a shoulder injury, but trust me, there is a lot to do for everyone at "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"

It sounds like you have already done your homework by consulting your husband's doctor which is always the first thing I suggest when it comes to choosing the attractions you will enjoy in the theme parks. You are smart to avoid the thrill rides, particularly since they tend to require bracing with your arms for the sharp turns and acceleration. While most rides without a height requirement will probably be suitable for your husband, there are a few attractions that he may want to think twice about riding. Rides like Mad Tea Party spin around and may be difficult for your husband's shoulder injury. I suggest you ask the Cast Member at the entrance of attraction queues if there are any health advisories for that ride. There are also signs posted at each attraction with advisories on them. When in doubt, it is probably best to skip an attraction to keep your husband feeling his best!

I hope this helps a bit, Lisa! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
